The lift system uses a pulley or tension-based mechanism that assists in raising and lowering the bike. This rack is designed to accommodate most standard bicycles, including road, mountain, and hybrid models. However, it is best suited for bikes with standard frames; bikes with unconventional frame geometries or extremely heavy e-bikes may require additional clearance or may not be compatible with the lift mechanism.

For safety and stability, this rack must be mounted directly into solid wall studs or a concrete surface. It is not suitable for mounting onto drywall alone, as the weight of the bike and the mechanical lift require a secure, load-bearing anchor point.

This system typically secures the bike by the frame or seat post to ensure it remains stable while suspended. This method prevents the wheel from spinning or wobbling while the bike is in the vertical position.

You should measure the total length of your bike from tire to tire and add at least 6 to 12 inches of buffer space above and below the bike. This ensures you have enough room to operate the lift mechanism without the tires hitting the ceiling or the floor.
