The Nitto Moustache handlebar requires a stem with a 26.0 mm clamp diameter. Before purchasing, check your current stem's specifications to ensure compatibility, as many modern stems use a 31.8 mm standard.

Because of the unique shape, standard road brake levers often feel awkward. Most riders prefer using mountain bike-style levers or bar-end levers, which fit more naturally on the moustache curve and provide better leverage.

The handling is generally more stable and upright. You won't get the aggressive, aerodynamic tuck of a road bar, but you gain better visibility and control in traffic, making it a great choice for urban navigation.

Wrapping moustache bars can be slightly trickier than standard drops due to the tight curves. Take your time, use a high-stretch handlebar tape, and consider starting from the center of the bar and working your way out to ensure a clean, overlap-free finish.
