Settle Ceramics Salt Jar

The jar features a matte glaze finish, which seals the stoneware and makes it food-safe and easy to wipe clean. It is designed to handle the moisture typically found in a kitchen environment.

The cork top is designed to sit snugly within the rim, providing a secure seal that protects your salt from humidity and kitchen debris. It is easy to remove with one hand while cooking, but stays firmly in place when the jar is stationary.

While the stoneware vessel itself is durable and dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing the cork lid to preserve its shape and integrity over time. Prolonged exposure to water can cause natural cork to degrade.

The 10-ounce capacity refers to the volume of the vessel. Depending on the grain size of your salt—whether you use fine sea salt or coarse kosher flakes—you can comfortably fit a standard box of salt inside.

Because each piece is individually hand-thrown in Austin, there will be slight variations in shape, size, and glaze application. These subtle differences are intentional and part of the artisanal quality of the stoneware.
