These tubes are designed specifically for clincher tire setups. While they can technically be used inside a tubeless-ready rim, you must ensure you are using a standard clincher tire and that the valve hole in your rim is sized correctly for a Schrader valve.

Schrader valves are wider than the alternative Presta valves. If your current tube has a wider, car-style valve stem, your rim is drilled to accommodate it. If your rim currently uses a thinner Presta valve, a Schrader valve will likely not fit through the valve hole.

While not strictly required, a light dusting of talcum powder on the tube can help prevent it from sticking to the inside of the tire casing during installation. This can reduce the risk of pinching the tube against the rim during the seating process.
