Ecologie Swedish Sponge Dish Cloth

These Swedish sponge cloths are significantly more absorbent and durable than paper towels. While a paper towel is single-use, one of these cloths can replace up to 15 rolls of paper towels, making them a much more sustainable and cost-effective choice for daily cleanup.

You can easily clean them by tossing them in the washing machine with your regular laundry or placing them on the top rack of your dishwasher. For a deeper clean, they can also be boiled for a few minutes or microwaved while damp for one minute.

Because they are made from a cellulose and cotton blend, they dry very quickly, which inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. As long as you wring them out after use and allow them to air dry, they stay fresh much longer than synthetic sponges.

These cloths are 100% biodegradable and compostable. Once they have reached the end of their lifespan, you can simply toss them into your home compost bin, where they will break down naturally.

They are gentle and non-abrasive, making them safe for delicate surfaces like glass, non-stick pans, and finished wood. If you need heavy-duty scrubbing power for burnt-on messes, you may still want a dedicated scouring pad.
