LAF stands for 'Left Arm Facing.' When you are standing in front of the piece and looking at it, the armrest will be on your left side.

While it is designed as a modular piece for a sectional, it can function as a standalone chair. However, keep in mind that one side will be open without an armrest, so it is best suited as part of a larger configuration.

This unit is designed to sit flush against other pieces in the Dakota collection. While specific connection hardware varies by configuration, the modular design ensures the pieces align cleanly to create a stable, unified sectional.

The cushions are designed for outdoor use and are weather-resistant, meaning they can handle exposure to the elements. For the longest lifespan and to keep them looking fresh, we still recommend using furniture covers or storing them during heavy storms or winter months.

Mallin constructs these frames for outdoor durability, providing a sturdy base that resists tipping in standard wind conditions. If you live in an area with exceptionally high winds, you may want to consider additional anchoring.
