To clean your wrap, simply hand wash it in cool water with a mild, eco-friendly soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the beeswax coating, and let it air dry completely before folding it for storage.

It is not recommended to use beeswax wraps for raw meat or fish. Because the wraps cannot be washed in hot water or sanitized in a dishwasher, they are best reserved for produce, cheese, bread, and dry goods.

With proper care and regular use, you can expect these wraps to last about a year. Over time, the wax coating may naturally wear down, but you can often refresh them with a DIY wax bar or compost them at the end of their life cycle.

The wrap may have a faint, pleasant scent of beeswax and resin when new, but this does not transfer to your food. It is designed to be food-safe and will not leave any sticky residue on your items.

The warmth of your hands is the secret. Simply wrap the fabric around your food or bowl, press firmly with your palms for a few seconds, and the heat from your hands will soften the wax, allowing it to create a secure seal as it cools.
