The pathway is crafted from durable cedar, which is naturally resistant to weather and decay. While you can apply a wood sealant or stain to maintain its original color over time, it is not strictly necessary for the product to function outdoors.

Maintenance is straightforward. Simply spray the pathway down with a garden hose to remove dirt, mud, or debris. Allow it to air dry completely before rolling it up for storage to prevent moisture buildup.

The wooden slats provide a textured surface that offers better traction than mud or wet grass. However, like any wood product, it can become slick if covered in algae or ice, so use caution in those conditions.

The pathways are designed as individual units and do not feature built-in locking mechanisms to connect them end-to-end. You can certainly place them side-by-side, but they will remain separate sections.
