The blend is designed to be soft and inviting rather than scratchy. While wool can sometimes have a tactile texture, the addition of alpaca fiber softens the hand-feel, making it comfortable for lounging.

At 49 inches by 70 inches, this throw is sized primarily as a decorative accent or a lap blanket. It works beautifully draped over the foot of a bed or across a sofa, but it is not intended to provide full coverage for a standard mattress.

Because of the natural fibers, we recommend dry cleaning only to maintain the integrity and shape of the throw. Avoid machine washing or drying, which can cause the natural fibers to felt or shrink.

High-quality natural fibers like alpaca and wool may experience minor shedding or pilling with initial use, which is a normal characteristic of the material. Gentle handling and occasional use of a fabric comb can help keep the surface looking smooth.

The Aria throw features a natural color palette, meaning the hues are derived from the undyed or minimally processed fibers. Because these are natural materials, slight variations in tone can occur, which adds to the authentic, organic character of the piece.
