To keep the wood in good condition, wipe the handles clean after use and occasionally apply a light coat of wood oil or wax. This prevents the wood from drying out and helps maintain its natural finish over time.

The blades are drop-forged for durability, but they are not designed to be user-replaceable. With proper care and occasional sharpening, they will provide a long service life.

These are standard bypass-style secateurs best suited for pruning green, living stems and branches up to about 15-20mm in diameter. For very thick or woody stems, we recommend using loppers to avoid damaging the blade mechanism.

While Ash wood provides a natural, comfortable grip, it can become slightly slippery if very wet. We recommend wiping the handles dry after use and storing them in a cool, dry place to maintain the best grip and longevity.

Drop-forging creates a denser, stronger metal structure compared to stamped steel, resulting in a blade that holds a sharp edge longer and resists bending under pressure. Stainless steel also offers excellent rust resistance, which is ideal for gardening tools.
