Lelit Tamper

This tamper is specifically engineered for the Lelit Bianca and MaraX models. While it may physically fit other portafilters, we recommend it primarily for these machines to ensure the precise fit required for consistent extraction.

The wooden handle provides a natural, tactile grip that feels warmer and more substantial in the hand than standard plastic or metal alternatives. Its ergonomic shape is designed to reduce wrist strain during repetitive use.

The stainless steel base provides the necessary weight and durability for even compression. It is non-reactive, easy to clean, and helps ensure a level coffee bed, which is essential for preventing channeling during your shot.

To keep the wood in good condition, avoid soaking the tamper or putting it in the dishwasher. Simply wipe the base clean after use and occasionally treat the wood with a food-safe mineral oil if it begins to look dry.

This tamper features a flat base, which is the industry standard for achieving a uniform, level puck. A flat base is generally easier to use for beginners and professionals alike to ensure consistent pressure across the entire coffee bed.
