Vertex V1 Linear Switches

The V1s feature a specialized spherical-point stem bottom designed to create a more concentrated, clean sound profile. Combined with a non-plated stainless steel spring, they aim to provide a more consistent typing feel by eliminating the variability often found in surface-treated springs.

These are 5-pin MX-style switches, which are compatible with most modern hot-swappable mechanical keyboards. If your keyboard PCB only supports 3-pin switches, you can easily clip the two extra plastic legs off the bottom of the switch to make them fit.

With a 50gf operating force and a 62gf bottom-out force, these switches sit in a comfortable middle ground that isn't too light or too heavy. The nylon housing and POM stem combination provides a smooth, stable keystroke with minimal wobble.

While many enthusiasts prefer to apply their own lubricant for a specific sound or feel, the Vertex V1 switches are designed to be smooth right out of the box. You can install them as-is, but feel free to lube them if you want to further refine the acoustics or smoothness.

The Vertex V1 switches have a total travel distance of 4.0mm, which is the standard depth for most traditional mechanical switches. This provides a familiar, full-depth typing experience.
