To maintain a clean burn, trim the cotton wick to about 1/4 inch before each lighting. This prevents the flame from becoming too large and helps avoid soot buildup on the intricate pinecone texture.

While the outer details will soften as the candle burns down, the core will maintain its structural integrity for a significant portion of the 50-hour burn time. We recommend placing it on a heat-safe plate or tray to catch any wax drips that may occur as the candle consumes itself.
