While Herend porcelain is durable, we recommend hand washing to preserve the integrity of the hand-painted Golden Laurel motif. It is generally not recommended for microwave use due to the potential presence of metallic accents in the design.

Because each bowl is handcrafted in Hungary, production begins only after your order is placed. This ensures that every piece meets Herend's rigorous quality standards, though it does mean you should anticipate a longer lead time compared to mass-produced items.

The oval silhouette is specifically designed to accommodate long vegetables like asparagus or carrots, as well as roasted potatoes or side salads. Its elongated form also makes it an excellent centerpiece vessel that fits comfortably on crowded dining tables.

The Golden Laurel pattern is intentionally understated, making it highly compatible with other Herend collections. It works beautifully as a neutral anchor piece alongside more intricate, colorful patterns or as part of a monochromatic, formal table setting.

To prevent scratching or chipping, we suggest using felt plate dividers or soft cloths between pieces if you are stacking them for storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, as they can dull the glaze and damage the delicate hand-painted details over time.
