While it is made of durable pine, this board is primarily designed for serving appetizers and snacks rather than heavy-duty meal prep. The soft nature of pine wood means it will show knife marks more quickly than harder woods like maple or walnut.

To keep the wood in good condition, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as the moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack.

The board does not come pre-oiled. We recommend applying a food-grade mineral oil or beeswax conditioner before its first use to protect the wood and enhance its natural grain.
