Olive wood is naturally dense and resistant to moisture, making it an excellent choice for bathroom environments. While it is durable, we recommend wiping it down occasionally to maintain its integrity and prevent long-term water saturation.

The three integrated drainage holes are essential for longevity. They allow air to circulate underneath the bar, ensuring it dries completely between uses and preventing the soap from becoming soft or mushy.

Because these dishes are carved from solid olive wood with a live edge, every piece features unique grain patterns and organic shapes. You can expect your dish to have distinct character marks that differ from the product photos.

Simply rinse the dish with warm water and mild soap as needed. To keep the wood looking its best, allow it to air dry completely and occasionally treat it with a food-safe mineral oil or wood wax to maintain the finish.

The dish is designed to accommodate most standard-sized cleansing bars. If you use exceptionally large or oversized artisanal soaps, we recommend checking the dimensions of your specific bar against the dish to ensure a comfortable fit.
