The wide bowl is specifically engineered for full-bodied red wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeaux, or Merlot. Its generous surface area allows these complex wines to breathe, softening tannins and fully expressing their aromatic profiles.

While Riedel crystal is technically dishwasher safe, we strongly recommend hand washing these hand-blown pieces. The delicate nature of the thin crystal and the height of the stem make them prone to breakage in standard dishwasher racks.

Hand-blown glass is prized for its thin, refined walls and superior clarity, but it is inherently more fragile than machine-made or tempered glassware. You should handle these glasses with care, particularly when polishing or storing them.

At 10.62 inches tall, this glass is quite striking but also quite tall. Before purchasing, measure your cabinet shelves to ensure you have enough vertical clearance for safe storage.
