Alpaca fiber is naturally softer and lighter than sheep's wool because it lacks lanolin, making it hypoallergenic and less likely to itch. It is also highly thermally efficient, providing excellent warmth without feeling heavy or bulky.

At 50 inches by 70 inches, this throw is designed primarily as a decorative accent or a cozy layer for a sofa. While it can drape across the foot of a bed for texture, it will not provide full coverage for a standard mattress.

To preserve the integrity of the natural fibers, we recommend dry cleaning only. If you need to spot clean, use a damp cloth and mild detergent, but avoid soaking or machine washing to prevent felting or shrinkage.

Like most natural fiber textiles, some minor shedding is normal when the item is new. With proper care and gentle use, pilling is minimal, but you can easily remove any stray fibers with a specialized sweater comb or fabric shaver.
