Yes, the lantern is constructed from galvanized steel, which is inherently weather-resistant. While it is designed to withstand the elements, we recommend bringing it indoors during extreme weather conditions to preserve the brushed finish over time.

This lantern is designed for use with standard pillar candles or LED flameless candles. Given the 65 cm height, a taller pillar candle will provide the best aesthetic balance, but ensure the candle is secured on a flat surface before lighting.

The glass panels are integrated into the frame for stability and weatherproofing. You can easily clean them by reaching through the side or top access points with a microfiber cloth or glass cleaner.

Because the frame is made of galvanized steel, it may become warm if a real flame candle is used for an extended period. If you have children or pets, we recommend using a high-quality LED pillar candle to eliminate heat and fire risks.

The lantern features sturdy claw feet designed for stability, but it performs best on flat, level surfaces like patio pavers, decking, or a concrete walkway. If placing it on soft soil, we suggest using a small paver or stone tile underneath to prevent it from sinking or tilting.
