The coreless design removes the rigid plastic sleeve found in most lock-on grips, allowing the rubber to sit directly against the handlebar. This creates a more damped, vibration-absorbing feel that is significantly more comfortable on long, rough descents.

Installation is straightforward, but because they lack a rigid core, they require a bit more care to slide on. Using a small amount of compressed air or a dedicated grip installation solvent makes the process much easier than trying to force them on dry.

The extra length gives you more room to shift your hand position during technical maneuvers or while climbing. It is particularly helpful for riders who prefer a wider stance or those who tend to hang their hands off the edge of the grip.

The pattern is designed to be softer where you need comfort and denser where you need control. By increasing the rib density toward the outer edge, the grip provides a firmer platform for steering inputs while keeping the palm area plush and vibration-free.

While the grips are designed with integrated channels for wire retention, it is optional. If you ride in extremely wet or muddy conditions, safety wire adds an extra layer of security to prevent the grips from twisting, but for most trail riding, a proper installation is sufficient.
