Baratza M2 Burr Upgrade Kit

The M2 Burr Upgrade Kit is designed specifically for the Baratza Encore, Virtuoso, and Preciso models. It is not compatible with Baratza's commercial-grade grinders or the Sette series.

You can expect a more consistent grind profile with fewer fines, which directly translates to better extraction and improved flavor clarity in your cup. It essentially brings the grind quality of an older Encore closer to the performance level of the Virtuoso.

The installation process is straightforward and does not require specialized tools, though you will need to open the grinder housing. Baratza provides clear documentation, and most users can complete the swap in about 15 to 30 minutes.

While the burr geometry is different, the overall calibration remains largely the same. However, you may find that you need to slightly adjust your grind setting preference by a few clicks to dial in your specific brew method after the installation.
