Yes, Arthur Court Designs uses food-safe aluminum alloys. It is perfectly suitable for serving appetizers, cheeses, or fruits directly on the surface.

Hand wash the tray with mild dish soap and dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid using the dishwasher, as the harsh detergents and high heat can dull or damage the polished finish over time.

While the aluminum is durable, it is not designed to go into the oven. We recommend using it for serving room-temperature or chilled foods, or placing pre-warmed items onto the tray once they are ready to be served.

Aluminum is naturally resistant to tarnish, so it will maintain its luster with proper care. However, like any metal serving piece, it can develop fine surface scratches if used with sharp knives or abrasive scouring pads, so we recommend using soft serving utensils.
