The Focal Dôme Flax system is optimized for rooms ranging from 320 to 430 square feet. In this size range, the satellite speakers and subwoofer provide a balanced, immersive soundstage without feeling overwhelmed or underpowered.

The Dôme Flax satellites are designed for versatility, but mounting hardware varies based on your specific installation needs. While the speakers are engineered to be wall or ceiling mountable, you should check the specific package contents or consult with an installer to ensure you have the correct mounts for your desired configuration.

While you can technically mix brands, it is generally recommended to keep the front three speakers (left, center, right) from the same series to ensure a consistent 'timbre' or sound signature. Using different brands for the surround channels is less critical, but matching the Dôme Flax satellites will provide the most cohesive listening experience.
