The table features a self-storing butterfly leaf, which means the extension mechanism is built directly into the table. You simply unlock the table, pull the two halves apart, and unfold the leaf from the center storage compartment, eliminating the need to find extra closet space for a loose leaf.

The chairs feature tan polyester upholstery, which is generally durable and resistant to wear. However, because it is a fabric, we recommend spot-cleaning spills immediately with a mild upholstery cleaner to maintain the look of the cushions.

The table measures 90 inches in length and 42 inches in width. When planning your space, ensure you have enough clearance around the table—typically at least 30 to 36 inches on all sides—to allow for comfortable seating and movement.

Assembly is required for this set. You will need to attach the legs and base to the tabletop and assemble the chairs. We recommend having a second person assist you, as the table is substantial and weighs nearly 300 pounds.

The distressed finish is designed to add character and a lived-in aesthetic to the wood. Because of the distressing process, you should expect slight variations in the wood grain and color, which is intentional and part of the set's traditional, rustic charm.

The table features a substantial X-design base. While the chairs will fit comfortably around the perimeter, the X-base design may limit how far you can push the chairs in depending on where the legs are positioned relative to your seating arrangement.
