The stem is designed to be part of the vessel, so it is open to the bowl. While it adds a beautiful visual element, you should use a bottle brush or a soft cloth to ensure the interior of the stem is cleaned thoroughly after use.

This glass is on the shorter side, making it ideal for crisp, aromatic white wines like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio. Its compact stature makes it very stable and easy to handle, though it may not provide the same aeration surface area as a larger, wider-bowled glass.

While the recycled glass is durable, we recommend hand-washing these artisanal pieces to preserve their finish and structural integrity. The mouth-blown nature of the glass makes it more susceptible to thermal shock and breakage in high-heat dishwasher cycles.
