While the split webbing technology provides surprisingly good weight distribution for its minimalist profile, it lacks the thick padding found on sport climbing harnesses, so it is best suited for alpine missions rather than hanging belays.

The tie-in loop features a built-in wear indicator. If you see the red inner core showing through the outer webbing, the harness has reached the end of its safe lifespan and must be retired.

It includes two gear loops and four dedicated slots for ice clippers. This is plenty for a standard alpine rack or ice screws, though it may feel limited if you are carrying a large trad rack.

The harness uses functional buckles on the rear leg loops that allow you to quickly unclip the leg straps. This lets you drop the seat for bathroom breaks without needing to fully remove the harness or your outer layers.
