This filter is designed to fit most standard coffee makers that use a size #4 cone filter. We recommend checking your machine's manual or measuring your current filter basket to ensure it accommodates a 4-inch tall, 4.9-inch diameter cone.

Maintenance is straightforward. Simply discard the used coffee grounds and rinse the filter thoroughly under warm running water. It is not dishwasher safe, so hand washing is required to maintain the integrity of the mesh.

Yes, it typically results in a fuller-bodied cup. Because paper filters trap many of the coffee's natural oils and micro-fines, switching to a gold-plated mesh filter allows those oils to pass through, resulting in a richer, more textured brew.

While the mesh is finely woven to catch the majority of grounds, you may notice a very small amount of fine sediment at the bottom of your cup, which is common with permanent metal filters. This is generally considered part of the fuller-bodied experience.
