Yes, like all outdoor wood furniture, acacia will weather over time if left untreated. To maintain the warm, natural finish, we recommend applying a teak oil or wood sealant at least once a year and covering the bench during harsh winter months.

At 33 pounds, the Brentwood Bench is sturdy enough for standard patio use, but it is relatively lightweight compared to iron or stone benches. If you live in a particularly high-wind area, you may want to place it in a sheltered spot or against a wall.

The bench arrives partially assembled and requires some setup. You will need to attach the backrest and armrests to the seat base, which typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes with the included hardware.

The brass accents are designed for outdoor use, but they will naturally develop a patina over time when exposed to the elements. If you prefer the bright, polished look, you can occasionally clean them with a mild brass polish.
