ENVE M525 Rim

While engineered for the demands of XC racing, the M525 is robust enough for daily training and technical trail riding. Its carbon construction balances lightweight agility with the durability needed to handle varied terrain.

The M525 features a 25mm internal width, which is optimized for modern cross-country tires typically ranging from 2.1 to 2.4 inches. This width provides a stable platform that balances tire volume with cornering support.

The hookless bead is designed specifically for tubeless-ready tires. It creates a stronger, more impact-resistant rim edge, but you must ensure your tires are explicitly rated for hookless rims to maintain a secure fit and prevent burping.

Molding the spoke holes allows the carbon fibers to remain continuous around the hole rather than being cut, which significantly increases the rim's structural integrity and strength at a critical stress point.

While the M525 is designed as a tubeless-ready system for optimal performance and flat protection, you can run inner tubes if necessary. However, for the best ride quality and puncture resistance, we recommend setting them up tubeless.

The maximum tire pressure for the M525 is 70 PSI. However, most riders will find significantly lower pressures provide better traction and comfort, especially when running wider, tubeless-ready tires.
