The fixture features a counterweight system that allows you to manually pull the pendant down or push it up to your desired height. It is designed to stay securely in place at whatever level you set it, making it ideal for adjusting between task lighting over a kitchen island and ambient lighting for a dining table.

While bone china is thinner and more translucent than standard ceramic, it is surprisingly durable and chip-resistant. However, it should be handled with care during installation and cleaning to avoid impact against hard surfaces.

This fixture uses a standard E26 base, which is compatible with most common household bulbs. For the best aesthetic, we recommend a warm-toned LED bulb that mimics the glow of traditional incandescent lighting.

The rise-and-fall mechanism relies on a vertical drop, so it is best suited for flat ceilings. Installing it on a sloped ceiling may cause the counterweight system to hang unevenly or interfere with the smooth operation of the pulley.

The bone china shade can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. For the braided cotton cable, use a dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush attachment on your vacuum to gently remove dust.
