Thomson MTB Handlebar

The Thomson titanium handlebar offers a unique middle ground. It provides the vibration-damping compliance often associated with carbon fiber, but with the robust, long-term durability and fatigue resistance of high-end metal.

This handlebar is designed for a standard 31.8 mm clamp diameter, which is compatible with the vast majority of modern mountain bike stems.

To ensure safety and prevent damage to the titanium, use 5 Nm of torque for 2-bolt stems and 4 Nm for 4-bolt stems.

The 730 mm width is a classic dimension that works well for cross-country and trail riding. If you prefer a wider cockpit for aggressive all-mountain riding, you may find this width slightly narrower than contemporary wide-bar trends.

The Scotch-Brite brushed finish is highly durable and resists wear exceptionally well. You can easily maintain its appearance by wiping it down with a clean cloth, and minor surface scratches can be buffed out with a Scotch-Brite pad.
