Cape Cod Metal Cleaner and Polish Cloth

Cape Cod cloths are formulated for fine metals like silver, gold, brass, copper, and stainless steel. Avoid using them on plated items where the finish is thin, as the polishing action could potentially wear through the plating.

While the cloth is pre-moistened to polish and protect, it does leave a light, protective finish that helps prevent future tarnish. If you prefer a completely dry surface, you can lightly buff the item with a clean, soft microfiber cloth after polishing.

It is best to avoid direct contact with porous gemstones like pearls, opals, or turquoise, as the polishing agents may damage them. For metal-only jewelry, it works beautifully, but use caution around any set stones.

Each cloth is quite effective and can be used multiple times until it becomes completely black with tarnish. Even when the cloth looks dirty, it often continues to polish effectively, so keep using it until it no longer restores the shine.

The vanilla scent is subtle and designed to make the polishing process more pleasant. It typically dissipates quickly after use, so it won't affect the taste or smell of your silverware when you use it for dining.
