Candle Survival Lantern

As the candle burns down, the spring-loaded tube automatically pushes the candle upward against the top of the lantern. This keeps the wick at a constant height relative to the flame, ensuring steady illumination without you needing to manually adjust it.

This lantern is specifically designed for use with proprietary candle refills that fit the spring-loaded tube. Standard tea lights or taper candles will not fit the mechanism correctly and should not be used.

The aluminum construction is durable and rugged, but it will conduct heat. While the handle and base are generally safe to handle, the upper portion of the lantern can become hot while in use, so use caution when adjusting or collapsing it.

Replacing the candle is straightforward. Simply twist the base to unlock it, remove the empty candle casing, insert a new refill, and twist the base back into the locked position.

While it provides a warm, ambient glow, it is an open-flame device. You should always exercise extreme caution when using any candle-based light inside a tent, ensuring proper ventilation and keeping it away from sleeping bags, fabrics, and other flammable materials.

The lantern is designed for efficiency. When collapsed, it measures just 3 x 6 x 1 inches, making it a very low-profile addition to your pack that easily slides into side pockets or small gear compartments.
