The Northwest Group Throw Blanket

Raschel fabric is a type of warp-knitted textile known for its plush, high-pile texture. It creates a thick, soft feel that is particularly effective at retaining heat, making it a popular choice for heavy-duty throw blankets.

At 60 by 80 inches, this throw is quite large—roughly the size of a queen-sized comforter's width. While it will provide excellent coverage for lounging on a couch, it functions best as a decorative accent or an extra layer of warmth when placed over a full or queen bed.

You can machine wash this blanket on a gentle cycle with cold water. To maintain the integrity of the sublimated graphics and the softness of the fabric, tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry.

The graphics are applied using a sublimation process, which dyes the fabric fibers directly rather than printing on top of them. This method makes the design highly resistant to fading, cracking, or peeling, even after repeated laundering.

Because of the raschel construction, this blanket has a substantial, plush weight to it. It is designed to provide significant warmth, so it feels heavier and cozier than a standard fleece or cotton throw.
