Ethical Global Scrub Brush

This brush offers a similar level of scrubbing power but with a firmer, more rigid texture thanks to the blend of tampico and rice root fibers. While synthetic bristles often fray or melt under high heat, these natural fibers are heat-resistant and fully biodegradable, making them a more durable and eco-conscious choice for daily cleaning.

While the FSC-certified rubber wood is durable, it is best to avoid soaking the handle for extended periods. To prolong the life of the wood, shake off excess water after use and store the brush in a dry, well-ventilated area.

The rice root and tampico fibers are quite stiff, so they are best suited for heavy-duty tasks like scrubbing cast iron, root vegetables, or tile grout. We recommend avoiding this brush on delicate non-stick coatings or fine glassware to prevent potential surface scratches.

Rinse the bristles thoroughly after each use to remove food particles and soap residue. To prevent mold, store the brush bristle-side down or hang it up so the wood handle can dry completely between uses.

Tampico is a softer, more absorbent fiber that holds soap well, while rice root is significantly stiffer and more durable. Combining them creates a brush that is both effective at lathering and strong enough to tackle stubborn, stuck-on grime.
