Yes, this floss is lightly coated with candelilla wax, a plant-based alternative to beeswax, to help it glide smoothly between tight teeth. It is typically unscented to avoid unnecessary additives.

Because this floss is made from biodegradable bamboo fiber, it can be composted in your home compost bin after use. It will break down naturally, unlike traditional plastic floss which ends up in landfills.
