Since this strainer is not dishwasher safe, simply rinse it under warm water immediately after use to remove tea leaves. Allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup and ensure the bamboo remains in good condition.

Bamboo is a neutral material and will not alter the taste of your tea. However, like any porous natural material, it may absorb the aroma of strongly scented teas over time if not rinsed thoroughly.
