The magnets are embedded directly into the extractor, creating a secure hold on the shell rims. This keeps your shells from falling out if you invert the shotgun while navigating thick brush or climbing into a blind, ensuring they stay put until you manually remove them.

It is a functional upgrade. Cerakote is a ceramic-based finish that provides significantly higher corrosion and abrasion resistance than traditional bluing, making it ideal for wet, muddy, or harsh hunting environments.

As the name implies, the Upland Ultralight is built to be carried all day. It is noticeably lighter than typical steel-receiver over-unders, which reduces fatigue during long treks through upland fields.

While the metal is protected by Cerakote, the walnut stock is still wood and requires standard care. You should wipe it down after wet hunts and occasionally apply a quality gun stock oil to prevent the wood from drying out or cracking.

While you can certainly use it for casual clay shooting, its design is optimized for the field. The lightweight profile and specific balance are tailored for carrying over long distances and quick handling on game birds rather than the sustained, high-volume shooting found at a clay range.
