The red light mode helps preserve your natural night vision, making it ideal for reading maps or moving around camp without blinding yourself or others. The green light is often used for tracking or navigating without startling wildlife.

This headlamp uses a twist focus lens. You simply rotate the bezel around the light to transition from a wide flood beam for close-up tasks to a long-reaching spot beam for distance.

It has an IPX4 water resistance rating, which means it is splash-resistant and can handle light rain or damp conditions. However, it is not designed to be submerged in water or used during heavy downpours.
