Kimber Camp Guard

The Camp Guard is specifically engineered for wilderness protection. Developed in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, it is designed to provide reliable stopping power and accuracy for those spending time in the backcountry.

While the 10mm cartridge is powerful, the Camp Guard's 38-ounce stainless steel frame helps manage felt recoil. The full-length guide rod also assists in keeping the action consistent, making it more controllable than lighter polymer-framed alternatives.

The round heel frame removes the sharp corner typically found at the bottom of the grip. This design significantly reduces snagging on clothing and prevents the pistol from digging into your side, making it much more comfortable for all-day carry in a holster.

The tactical wedge sights are designed primarily for rapid target acquisition rather than low-light illumination. While they offer a clear sight picture for daytime use, they do not feature tritium or fiber-optic inserts for night shooting.

The stainless steel construction is highly resistant to corrosion, which is ideal for the moisture and elements found in outdoor environments. However, as with any single-action firearm, you should perform regular cleaning and lubrication of the slide rails and barrel to ensure consistent cycling.
