MARKER Comp Bindings

These are specialized race bindings designed for World Cup and FIS-level competition. With a maximum DIN setting of 20.0, they are significantly stiffer and more aggressive than standard recreational bindings and are intended exclusively for expert racers.

These bindings are compatible with standard Alpine DIN (ISO 5355 A) ski boots. They are not designed for GripWalk, WTR, or touring soles, so ensure your boots meet the specific ISO 5355 standard before purchasing.

The 4-linkage toe design centers the boot precisely on the ski, which helps you initiate turns faster and more accurately. It also allows the ski to maintain its natural flex, providing a smoother, more responsive feel when you are pushing hard through gates.

The 85mm brake width is optimized for narrow race skis. You should measure the waist width of your skis to ensure they are 85mm or narrower; if your skis are wider, the brakes will not deploy properly.

Magnesium is used because it offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. It keeps the overall weight of the binding down to 1375g without sacrificing the durability or rigidity required to handle the extreme forces of high-speed racing.

High elasticity allows the binding to absorb shocks and vibrations without releasing prematurely. This is critical for racers, as it ensures the binding holds firm when you hit bumps or chatter at high speeds, only releasing when it is truly necessary.
