No, neither the bamboo board nor the slate insert are dishwasher safe. We recommend hand washing them with mild soap and warm water, then drying them immediately to maintain the wood's finish.

This 12-inch board is designed to serve 2 to 3 people comfortably. If you utilize the extra space provided by removing the slate insert, it can accommodate appetizers for up to 4 people.
