With an impedance of 16Ω and a sensitivity of 116 dB/mW, the X4 is highly efficient. It can be driven easily by most smartphones, tablets, and laptops without needing a dedicated external amplifier.

The X4 provides -17dB of passive noise isolation. While this is effective for blocking out ambient background noise in most environments, it is not active noise cancellation, so you will still hear very loud, sudden sounds.
