The primary benefit is the stiff, one-piece, co-molded construction paired with a finned surface. This design promotes better airflow, which helps dissipate heat during heavy braking to maintain consistent stopping power.

These brakes provide up to 35mm of vertical brake pad adjustment. This range makes it much easier to align the pads correctly with your rim surface, even if you are swapping between different wheel setups.

The brakes ship with Box Three Air Flow brake shoes, which feature dual-compound pads. These are specifically engineered to balance stopping performance with heat management.

You will need a standard 5mm Allen key to secure the brake cable on the right arm and a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the tension screw. The hardware is made of stainless steel, which is durable and resists stripping.

These are standard V-brakes, so they will fit most BMX frames equipped with V-brake mounts. However, you should verify that your frame supports the specific reach—either 85mm or 108mm—that you intend to purchase.
