Fiebing's Saddle Soap

This paste is designed to clean, condition, and preserve leather goods. It lifts dirt and grime while simultaneously softening the leather to prevent cracking and maintain its suppleness.

The color choice is largely aesthetic and functional based on your leather's shade. The Yellow soap is traditional and works well on most standard tan or brown leathers, while the White version is often preferred for lighter-colored leathers to avoid any potential color transfer.

Apply a small amount of the paste to a damp cloth or sponge and work it into the leather using a circular motion. Once you have cleaned the surface, wipe away any excess residue with a clean, dry cloth and allow the leather to air dry.

It is formulated for smooth, finished leathers. We recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure colorfastness and compatibility, especially on delicate or aniline-dyed leathers.

When applied correctly—using only a small amount and buffing it off—it should not leave a sticky residue. The key is to use a damp cloth for application and to thoroughly buff the surface after cleaning to achieve a clean, conditioned finish.
