Hunter Fan Downrod

This downrod is specifically engineered for rooms with 13-foot ceilings. Using this length ensures your fan sits at the optimal height for air circulation and safety.

It is compatible with most Hunter and Casablanca fans, but it will not work with the Hunter Original series. We recommend checking your specific fan model's manual to confirm it accepts a standard 0.75-inch diameter downrod.

The tapered threads allow for deeper, more secure engagement between the downrod and the fan motor housing. This design minimizes wobble and ensures a more stable connection compared to standard straight-threaded rods.

We do not recommend cutting the downrod. Altering the length can compromise the structural integrity of the threads and the safety of the fan installation. It is best to select the correct length for your ceiling height from the start.

The downrod is designed to integrate with your existing fan's mounting hardware. You will typically reuse the clevis pin and cotter pin provided with your original fan installation kit.
