Bee's Wrap Food Storage

Wash your wraps in cool water with a mild dish soap, then let them air dry. Avoid using hot water, as it will melt the wax coating and ruin the wrap's ability to seal.

It is best to avoid using Bee's Wrap for raw meat or fish. Because the wraps cannot be washed in hot water or sanitized in a dishwasher, they aren't suitable for items that require high-heat cleaning to prevent cross-contamination.

With proper care and regular use, each wrap typically lasts about a year. You will know it is time to replace them when the wax coating begins to wear thin or the wrap no longer holds its shape.

You might notice a faint, pleasant scent of beeswax when you first open the package, but it does not transfer to your food. The wraps are designed to be neutral and will not alter the flavor of your leftovers or produce.

Avoid wrapping hot foods, as the heat will melt the wax. Additionally, stay away from acidic foods like pineapple or citrus, as the acid can break down the wax coating over time.

Because they are made from organic cotton, coconut oil, tree resin, and wax, Bee's Wraps are fully compostable. You can cut them into strips and add them to your home compost bin or use them as natural fire starters.
